It's... different. I didn't really expect a practice like magic to have a whole following behind it. I thought it was for show and so i dismissed it as such, that post sort of made me curious on the whole endeavor, it's really cool!
Eh, some people use it for show, it's true. But there are many more people who use it as a guiding force in their lives, similar to Christians who read from the prayer books at important times of the day and ask God for guidance and forgiveness. Witchcraft is just more... indirect and varied, I guess is the term. I do know one or two people who swear by this stuff and say it's made a tangible difference in their lives, though. So there could very well be something there; won't know til you try.
